About Paula Decker Haynes

Wife, mother, grandmother of seven, worked with Head Start as an assistant teacher and then teacher and family advocate before retiring. She is a professional mixed media artist since 2013.

Paula has won several awards for her art and during one of those shows decided to sit down and write a book about a dragon. This story evolved from a piece of artwork she had created and had on display for people to see. It brought on much conversation and before the day was drawing to a close she had finished the entire story.
